[BBC4] The Far Pavilions (Palast der Winde)

Ich gebe mal einen Radiotipp -- aus tiefer Überzeugung:

BBC wiederholt die 20x15-Min.-Adaption des Romans "Palast der Winde" von M.M. Kaye ab dem 3.2.20. Täglich um 14 Uhr wird eine weitere Episode ausgestrahlt und ist dann in der BBC-Mediathek für ein paar Tage auch herunterzuladen.

Das Buch war auch in Deutschland ein Bestseller und gehört zu meinen Lieblingsschmökern. Ich habe es bestimmt 10x gelesen, es ist brilliant geschrieben. Die Verfilmung als TV-Dreiteiler aus den frühen 80ern ist ok, manchmal kitschiger, manchmal sehr gut, aber logischerweise stark gestrafft und gekürzt. Als ich 2011 hörte, dass es eine Hörspieladaption geben würde, habe ich lange gezögert (wie andere wohl auch), bevor ich mir die CD-Fassung kaufte. Zum Glück waren meine Zweifel unberechtigt. Die Hörspielfassung ist mit Verstand, Professionalität und Liebe zum Buch gestaltet und für Hörspielfreunde ein Hochgenuss. Anhören!

Disclaimer: Englisch ist natürlich Voraussetzung -- aber trotz immer wieder auftretender Sprecher mit indischem Zungenschlag ist es deutlich und wirklich gut zu verstehen.
